Rassier Properties was founded by Louis T. Rassier in 1960 with the acquisitions of Major Land Holdings located within the California Bay Area. In the early 1970s, the Rassier Family developed the Georgian Manor Mobile Home Park, a 5 Star Mobile Home Park located in the heart of the Bay Area.
John T. Rassier succeeded as the Managing Director of Rassier Properties in 1982. Under the direction of Mr. Rassier, major Housing Developments were processed and entitled on various Land Parcels owned by the Rassier Family.
Each Development has been sold to National or Regional Home Builders, with the Equity exchanged into Neighborhood Shopping Centers, including the Freedom Centre, Watsonville, California, 1986; The Sierra Shopping Center, Susanville, California, 1994; The Mercado at Scottsdale Ranch, Scottsdale Arizona, 2003; The Greenlawn Crossing Shopping Center, Round Rock, Texas, 2006; The Govalle Shopping Center, Austin, Texas, 2006; and the Victorian Medical Center, Danville, California, 2013.
Since 1984, Rassier Properties has acquired over 750,000 Square Feet of Retail and Medical Properties located in California, Arizona and Texas. We have provided the Management and Leasing Supervision for each of these Properties. During this same 30 year period, our family has developed Multi-Family Developments, Major Retail Projects, and has completed significant construction upgrades and Value Added Remodeling to numerous Retail and Medical Office Developments within our Portfolio.

John T. Rassier is the Managing Director and Managing Principal Owner of the Rassier Properties Portfolio. As Managing Director, Mr. Rassier supervises all Acquisitions, Sales and Financing as well as the Operation, Management and Leasing of each Investment Property. Mr. Rassier has served as Managing Director since 1982. During these 30 years, he has directed the acquisition of over 750,000 square feet of Retail Properties, Medical offices as well as an Apartment Complex in Austin. He has also completed major Development Projects including Albertsons, Safeway and Rite Aid Expansions, Value-Added Renovations of In-Line Retail Space and the development, construction and leasing of the 40,000 square foot Stratford Village Business Park. John Rassier is a graduate of Seattle University and the University of San Francisco Law School. Mr. Rassier practiced Law in Bellevue, Washington for 15 years prior to joining Rassier Properties.
Christopher Rassier is the Director of Texas Real Estate. His responsibilities include the supervision and management of over 325,000 square feet of Retail Properties located within the Austin Trade Area and the Park Terrace Apartment Complex. The Texas Properties include the Greenlawn Crossing Shopping Center, the Govalle Shopping Center, the Shady Hollow Shopping Center and Park Terrace Apartments. Mr. Rassier directs all Property Management Operations and Leasing for each Project. He also serves as Construction Manager for all Properties within the Portfolio; as such, he is responsible for all new construction, expansion, remodeling and Tenant Improvements. Christopher is a graduate of Southern Methodist University. Prior to joining Rassier Properties, he worked in Investment Sales for Holliday, Fenoglio, Fowler, Dallas, Texas.
